Forever Glass makes history with their First Signature Keepsake Bowls created for long-time Placerville family, the Combellacks. The Combellack's store has been family owned and operated since 1888. To celebrate the wedding which happened in June, the family wanted a unique wedding gift. During the celebration, family members stowed away the recycled bottles from the joyous toasts made in honor of the bride and groom. The wine served was from 2 long-time California wine makers, one from central California, Mirassou Winery and Placerville local, Boeger Winery. As you can see, the glass bowls made from the recycled bottles look quite different from each other. Forever Glass uses the rare technique of spinning molten glass after crushing the recycled bottles. The bottle glass is kept separate throughout the entire process to ensure the bowls are made from the specific bottles from the event.
Wow! What an honor for Forever Glass to make these beautiful Signature Keepsake Bowls for the Combellack family wedding. We wish Laura and Kevin many happy years together and hope they enjoy their Keepsake Bowls to hold dear the memories of their special wedding day. While doing so they will also know that this unique gift paved the way for adults with autism to shine on at Forever Glass. Go Green for Autism
